I was born in Tuscany, Arezzo, on the 28th september 1983.
After the ordinary school period – musical and humanistic studies – I attended the I.S.I.A. (Istituto Superiore per le Industrie Artistiche) in Florence where I obtained the bachelor's degree in Industrial and Communication Design and the master’s degree in Product Design.
During the master I spent one year at the Bauhaus Universitaet in Weimar (Germany) where I absorbed a new way to design made by experimentation, a mix of different kinds of arts and techniques. During this period I also learnt the art of binding and the one of silkscreen which now constitute my job.
I enjoyed Weimar so much that I decided to stay there longer to write my end-of-degree dissertation entitled “Nostalgia for the future” about the city itself and about the way the Bauhaus Universitaet lets the students interact with the city leaving the creativity free to modify every small thing from the private to the public spaces. In a few words: how the free creativity creates new free creativity.
During the late summer 08 – august and september - I took part to the Synapses Project in Chisinau, Moldova, financed by the European Cultural Foundation (ECF), an art project that took place in an old circus of the ex Soviet Union with the intent to let artists from Germany, Italy, Romania, Sweden, France and Moldova know each other and work together.
Since october 08 I live in the countryside near Florence, I work as a freelance graphic designer for a german fashion designer working for ESPRIT and I continue creating with the art of bookbinding and silkscreen.
